Manage your plan, payment method, and invoices

The Billing page shows your current plan, remaining balance, the payment method on file, and invoice history.

Plan details

Every new workspace is created on the Free tier, which includes a recurring monthly allowance of agent minutes and TTS characters. Upgrade to a paid tier (Starter, Pro, or Scale) any time. The card shows:

  • Remaining Balance - usage credit left on your workspace, in USD and character equivalents.
  • Auto Recharge - when enabled, your card is charged automatically to top your balance back up once it falls below a threshold. Default: off. While off, your balance is not recharged when it reaches zero.

Payment method

Add or update a card under Payment Method. Click Edit payment method to launch the secure form. We don’t store the card directly - it lives with our payment processor and we reference it by token.

If the section shows “No payment method yet”, top-ups and Auto Recharge will fail until you add one.

Invoices

Past invoices appear under Invoices. Each row links to a hosted invoice page with a PDF download. New workspaces with no charges show “No invoices yet”.

Plan changes

Tier changes between Free, Starter, Pro, and Scale are self-serve. Upgrades apply immediately (your card is charged a prorated in-advance fee, so a payment method is required); downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

A downgrade or cancellation is refused if your workspace owns more purchased phone numbers than the target tier’s quota allows. Release the excess numbers first - numbers are never auto-released, and nothing is refunded.

Enterprise plans are sales-led - contact the Speechify team to move on or off Enterprise.
