Enterprise SSO

Connect your identity provider so your team signs in to Speechify with your existing SSO

Overview

Enterprise SSO lets your team sign in to the Speechify Console with your own identity provider (IdP) - Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, or any SAML 2.0 / OIDC provider - instead of a separate password. Access is centralized in your IdP: when you deprovision a user there, they lose access to Speechify.

SSO is scoped to a workspace. Connecting an IdP applies to that workspace’s members; your other workspaces are unaffected.

Enterprise SSO is available on the Enterprise plan. Contact sales to enable it for your workspace.

Prerequisites

  • The workspace is on a plan that includes enterprise SSO.
  • You are a workspace owner or admin (only these roles can manage SSO).
  • You can configure your identity provider (or work with whoever administers it).

Connect your identity provider

Speechify uses the WorkOS Admin Portal for IdP setup, so there is no per-connection engineering on either side.

  1. Sign in to the Speechify Console and open Settings → Workspace.
  2. In the Enterprise SSO card, select Set up SSO. This opens a secure WorkOS Admin Portal link scoped to your workspace.
  3. In the Admin Portal, pick your identity provider and follow its step-by-step guide to exchange metadata (SAML) or client credentials (OIDC) and set the sign-in redirect.
  4. Verify your email domain so Speechify can route sign-ins from that domain to your IdP.
  5. Save the connection. It becomes active as soon as the portal reports it healthy.

How your team signs in

Once the connection is active, members sign in from the standard Speechify login:

  1. Go to platform.speechify.ai.
  2. Enter your work email. Speechify recognizes your verified domain and redirects you to your identity provider.
  3. Authenticate with your IdP. You land back in the workspace.

No separate “Sign in with SSO” button is needed - the email domain routes the sign-in automatically.

Roles

SSO governs who can sign in, not what they can do. Workspace roles (owner, admin, member) and their permissions remain managed in Speechify. A member signing in through SSO for the first time joins the workspace with the default member role; owners and admins adjust roles under Settings → Workspace → Members.

Automated user provisioning and deprovisioning through SCIM directory sync is on the roadmap. Contact sales if it is a requirement for your rollout.
